Maker Post: Saucy Stitches NSFW

Firstly you’ll see I have tagged this post NSFW, it’s purely because there’s undies and bums and half naked Richard Armitage!

So last year, not too long after I made the Harry Kennedy jumper bunting I was on a roll and made another set of bunting for another good friend

This time i went down the road of being a little bit cheeky 😉

One thing the amour is known for beside his wonderful acting prowess is his particularly fine derriere, known in the fandom naughtily as the ‘peaches’

He’s also frequently out of his clothing in TV and film projects (quelle horreur) and is commonly seen in a pair of ‘fetching’ black briefs;

And finally there’s the socks; this white pair were featured in the exceptionally saucy TV series ‘Between the Sheets’ – one scwen he’s naked except for a ‘lovely’ pair of white socks!

And these purple stripey ones? Well, they’re just cool -as seen in an interview for the TV series Hannibal:

So what better bunting design than an ode to the Armitage’s fine peaches and choice of underwear?

It wasn’t a complicated project tbh, I just drew out shapes on paper which I used as templates. I used the commonly used blanket stitch for sewing with cross stitch silks (aided with some UHU glue) and various colour pieces of felt. I padded out the boxer briefs around the middle and the peaches, lol!

Again, i utilised the adorable tiny wooden clothes pegs to attach the plushies to the butchers red and white string.

Also as my pal is a bit of a Brit lover, what better than a union flag? I had a little help from the boyfriend, who used his laser cutting machine to burn the felt into the correct shape

In a similar vein , this week I made a small pair of padded Speedos, as featured on Lee Preston in Cold Feet during his notorious entrance! They’re off in the post system as we speak and you’ll see them resurface next month!
