This post is a mini tribute to a fandom/cat friend Sabine who is incredibly inspiring with her beautiful photography on Instagram as Purrsandicedcoffee
I don’t claim to be anywhere near as good as her, but now whenever i see a beautifully decorated door- I can’t help but think of her and take a picture!
These were all taken in the Wiltshire village of Lacock which is owned by the National Trust.
Ahh as you know I love flower arches around doors as we saw galore in London!
Lacock just is majestic!!
Such a kind tribute to your fandom friend!!

Is there a particular reason for the pom pom wreaths on two of those doors?

there were a couple more doors with pom poms, i don’t think there’s any particular meaning tbh. It’s either a fashion thing or maybe local maker?

They were really fun! Maybe a local fashion then. Nice idea. I feel tempted to make some, too. Well spotted!

I had to look up what a pom pom maker is – and now I want one 😂. Hehe, you have got to use it, Rachel, and make a wreath!!!

Yeah I didn’t notice til I went through the pictures that so many of the doors were blue! Though I didn’t take pics of every door lol. Thanks for your comment 😊
